Similar to the Garmin c550, the new StreetPilot c580 comes with hands-free calling, preloaded maps and an MP3 player, then takes it up a notch by adding dynamic content from MSN Direct. The portable StreetPilot c580 comes ready-to-go right out of the box with preloaded maps and plenty of options. The c580 includes an innovative new traffic receiver integrated into the power cable which provides real-time traffic services, where available. The traffic service notifies driver of traffic, construction, and weather delays and automatically suggests alternative routes. The built-in MP3 player lets users browse music by artist, album, song, or genre. Music can be loaded onto an SD card and is “drag-and-drop” easy – no special software is required. The Garmin c580 includes an audio output jack that allows users to wire MP3 audio, telephone audio, and turn-by-turn navigational voice prompts directly into their vehicle’s audio system. The Bel Sti Driver, Valentine 1 radar detector and Passport 9500ix radar detectors are great accessories.
